A long time ago, a hard-working young woman named Catherine became the first female blacksmith in her village. She learned many skills as apprentice to Andre in the heat of the smithy, but above all he taught her the importance of sharing her knowledge.
Soon, she has her own apprentice in Danny - a young man eager to become a blacksmith so he can help his people. Danny learns soon, however, that hard work and a generous soul are not enough. His test comes on a tower dizzyingly high above the village. Will Danny keep his balance as well as his goal?
